Forget To Vote
Dear DAVE,
Greetings
from Salisbury, where nominations for the 2010 NSSA Awards continue
through November 15th. If you haven't voted yet, please go to nssafame.com and look for the 2010 NSSA AWARDS NOMINATIONS icon
under BOOKMARKS in the left-hand column.
Already, more than 80 different people have been nominated in each
of the National and Hall of Fame categories (see below for a list
of those receiving votes).
If you're an NSSA member, you should have received a mailing in
the last two weeks telling you about the nomination process. Only
current members are allowed to put forth nominations.
Membership numbers and expiration dates were on the address labels
of the mailings. If you're unsure about your membership standing,
please call or email us (contact info below) us at NSSA

Who
People Are Voting For
Yes, we're about two weeks into nominations for the 2010 NSSA
Awards. For those who have not yet voted and might be having a hard
time figuring out who to nominate, we provide a list of those who
have received at least one vote (through Oct. 27) for the National
Awards and Hall of Fame. Click here.

Committee
Members Needed
One
of the duties of NSSA National Board President Ron Morris is to
name up to five members on five standing committees: Hall of
Fame, leadership/media relations, sponsorship, membership and
nominating. The President has the discretion of selecting members
from the Board or from the general NSSA membership. So, if
you are interested in serving on an NSSA committee, please let Ron
know. His email address is rmorris@thestate.com.
If you're interested in serving on the Hall of Fame committee,
please let him know as soon as possible, since nominations close on
November 15th and the final ballot will be out on December
1st.

Your
