As part of its mission
statement "to help mentor youth interested in sports media," the
National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association & Hall of
Fame has undertaken an initiative to start Student Chapters at
colleges and universities throughout the United States. These Student Chapters will consist of NSSA
student members who wish to take advantage of NSSA's networking and
educational opportunities.
NSSA will
provide:

Feedback for
students on their resume'
material;

Speakers for
Student Chapter events (when possible);
·
Opportunity to
provide content for NSSA Internet Radio and
nssafame.com
website;
·
Opportunity to
attend annual NSSA Awards Banquet (at cost);
·
Assistance/advice
in job placement.
